Community Redevelopment Law Cleanup - Study H-750

    As originally enacted, Health and Safety Code Section 34189(b) required the Commission to prepare a "Community Redevelopment Law cleanup bill" for submission to the Legislature by January 1, 2013. Materials prepared by the Commission in compliance with Section 34189 are collected below.
    In 2012, Section 34189 was amended to remove the language that mandated the Commission study of redevelopment law. See 2012 Cal. Stat. ch. 26. As a result, the study was immediately suspended.
