Obsolete Cross-References to Former Code of Civil Procedure Section 116.780(d) - Study T-102
The Commission studied how to correct two statutory cross-references to
subdivision (d) of Code of Civil Procedure Section 116.780, which related to enforcement of a judgment
entered after an appeal in a small claims case. Subdivision (d) was deleted from Section 116.780 in
2005, but two cross-references to it remain in the codes.
The Commission has approved a final recommendation.
The recommended legislation has been enacted. See
SB 647 (Committee on Judiciary), 2011 Cal. Stat. ch. 308, §§ 1, 2.
