Attorney-Client Privilege After Client's Death

    Pursuant to AB 403 (Tran) of the 2007 legislative session, the Commission will study "the issue of whether and, if  so, under what circumstances, the attorney-client privilege should survive the death of the client." The Commission's report to the Legislature on this topic is due by July 1, 2009.
