Trial Court Restructuring: Transfer of Case Based on Lack of Jurisdiction - Study J1403b
At the Legislature's direction, the Law Revision Commission
has been reviewing the codes and recommending reforms to delete or update material
made obsolete by trial court restructuring. For details, see Statutes
Made Obsolete by Trial Court Restructuring.
This study pertains to the transfer of a case based on lack
of jurisdiction under Code of Civil Procedure Section 396. The Legislature enacted
the recommendation. See 2008 Cal. Stat. ch. 56.
